Business Overview
Starting with a music festival for elementary and junior high school students on Saturday, October 5, three exhibitions of paintings, pottery, calligraphy, and other works were held, and performances of Japanese dance, hula dance, and Japanese drum were held on weekends during the festival. In addition, as the Hamura City Cultural Festival marked its 50 th anniversary, special events were held, such as the "My Dream Exhibition," in which people expressed their dreams for the future in the form of picture letters, the "Leader Exhibition," and the "Know the Kyrgyz Republic," a lecture about the Kyrgyz Republic, for which Hamura City was registered as a host town. On November 4, the final day of the festival, the opera "Carmen" was performed by vocalists connected to Hamura City, a public choir, and a city orchestra.

Hamura City is located about 45 kilometers west of central Tokyo. It is surrounded by nature around the Tama River and greenery, such as a thicket of trees that retains the atmosphere of Musashino. It is a city with a well-balanced residential and industrial area.
It covers an area of 9.90 square kilometers. The Tama River flows from the west to the south of the city, and the town is known for its Tamagawa Josui Inlet, which was excavated in the Edo period.
The city was established as a city on November 1, 1991, and is promoting the development of a beautiful town that harmonizes people, nature, and urban functions.
