Business Overview

At SLOW MOVEMENT Showcase & Forum vol.3, social circus artist Daniele Giangreco was invited from Italy to present creative activities with people with disabilities, and to discuss the possibilities of social circus in three areas: rehabilitation, empowerment, and community building.At the Israeli workshop and talk event, Afer Amram was invited from the Naragut Center in Israel to talk about examples of creative activities with deafblind and hearing- and visually impaired people, and to hear about communication methods and solutions to challenges that arise when expressing oneself.People with and without disabilities also held workshops together, where they learned practical creative methods.

SLOW MOVEMENT was established for the purpose of developing the citizen participation project "SLOW MOVEMENT" in Japan and overseas. It aims to spread the message of diversity and harmony as a movement through activities in which diverse people, regardless of age, gender, nationality, or disability, participate in creative activities and make the whole into a single performance, connecting people and regions, sharing one collaborative work and success experiences.
