Business Overview

The genres of 'Japanese music' played in our country today are very diverse. There are many situations in which each of them is engaged in activities that are somewhat closed and independent. However, when considering the future development of Japanese music, it is necessary not only to engage in activities in each genre but also to understand and exchange widely in each field. Based on this idea, the 'Contemporary Japanese Music Composers' League '(abbreviated as the current Bounren) was formed by volunteers who were engaged in creative activities in normal life. The group looks back on its activities over the past 50 years since its founding in 1964, and holds a performance once a year to further cultivate and envision traditional Japanese music, which is formed through a tireless creative attitude.
