Business Overview
This project aims to discover and develop disabled performers who will be active in cultural programs and opening and closing ceremonies in anticipation of the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Currently, the number of disabled performers in the country is very small and the skills of the few performers are limited. The purpose of this project is to increase the number of disabled performers and raise their level by using the very effective means of aerials. At the same time, they will learn the training method developed for the 2012 London Games, and aim to create a foundation for Japanese disabled performers to inherit the results and spread them in Japan.
In cooperation with the National Centre for the Circus Arts, which was the strength trainer at the London 2012 Games, the students will learn through intensive courses and lectures a training method developed in the UK for disabled performers at the London Paralympic Opening Ceremony.
