FY26 Term I Creation Grant [Single-Year Grant Program]

Business Overview
In 1978, Chris Cutler of Henry Cow organized the first Rock in Opposition Festival in London with the slogan "The music the record labels don't want you to hear". The original R.I.O.'s five biggest bands were Univel Zero (Belgium), Stormy Six (Italy), Etron by Leleubrin (France), Samra Mamas Manna (Sweden), and Henry Cow (England), all of whom had a distinctiveness and musicality completely different from mainstream Anglo-American rock. The festival closed after about 2 years, but was revived in France in 2007, and finally took place in our country this year. Performing artists include Alanis (Belgium), Altobeets (UK), Happy Family (Japan), One Hundred Views of Koenji (Japan), Mats/Morgan Band (Sweden), Picchio Dal Pozzo (Italy), Plezan (Belgium), Ru * Shirou (Japan), Sora: Lars Holmels Global Home Project (Sweden/Japan).
