Business Overview

This project is an attempt to transmit the splendor of classical performing arts through a new medium called the Internet. A komuso who plays the shakuhachi (bamboo flute) and appears in historical dramas. Its stormy history is not known. On the other hand, overseas, the number of devotees of Shakuhachikyoku (classical honkyoku) of Fuke sect, which was played by Komuso (a komuso), is increasing, as it is considered to be related to Zen. Kinohachi, who continues his innovative activities with the Komuso Shakuhachi as the starting point, has invited the two great masters of classical music to the present day, Mitsuhashi Takakaze and Zenyoji Keisuke. The three will talk about their unique world with their respective performances, and will broadcast live on "Tokyo Metropolitan Channel" in the Internet "Nikoniko Live Broadcasting" as an official broadcast. In "Niconico live broadcasting," viewers can participate on the screen by posting comments at the same time, and the audience and performers can see the screen and interact with each other in real time. The program is expected to attract 5000 to more than 10,000 young people, mainly in their 20s, nationwide, and will create a chemical reaction in the world of classical performing arts.

A shakuhachi player. Director of Wabisabi Entertainment Inc. He was brought up in a family of minyo performers, and from the age of 20 he studied fuke shakuhachi and classical honkyoku under Takafu MITSUHASHI. He is also a member of the rock band "634 Musashi," and since 2003 his original music which is a fusion of modern music has been used in various fields such as animation, Kabuki and TV background music. Recently, he has been active in the former Soviet bloc. In addition to his own performance activities, he is also involved in various production activities.
