Business Overview

Adopted by the Japan Playwrights Association program of the Playwrights Association, this performance is in partnership with Za Koenji ZA-KOENJI. In the male-led war, women who were the "property" of Troy are "presented" to Greece in the play "The Trojan Women". Based on this film, this time, in addition to the part that has been consistently portrayed since the first performance, which is the oblivious perpetrators who avert their eyes from reality and end up in the worst way possible, the film focuses more on the patriarchal side of war and depicts the characters who are tossed around in a rigid structure. The contrast between simultaneous conversations, seemingly peaceful and small everyday communities, and the hopelessly unchanging enormity of society surrounding them was clearly expressed through stage art and lighting.
