Social Grant

Targeting Tokyo-based art groups, intermediate support groups, welfare groups, NPOs, etc., the program supports art activities in which people from various social environments can participate together and demonstrate their creativity while respecting each other's individuality, as well as activities that address various social and urban issues utilizing the characteristics of art and culture.
In FY 2025, we will focus on supporting projects that address disparities in children's art appreciation and experience opportunities.

Projects sponsored by arts organizations, intermediate support groups, welfare organizations, NPOs, etc. with headquarters or head offices in Tokyo are covered.
* For "projects to eliminate disparities in children's art appreciation and experience opportunities," applications can be made if foundations or private companies operating public theaters, public halls, etc. are sponsors or co-sponsors of the project.

Priority Support in FY 2025
Support will be focused on projects that address disparities in art appreciation and experience opportunities for children.

< Activities covered > (Business falling under any of the following)
(a) Activities that allow people (especially children) who have limited opportunities to experience and participate in the arts due to their social environment to engage in artistic experiences, such as appreciation and creation, and to exercise their creativity and enrich their imagination
(b) Artistic activities in which the applicant group sets social issues based on its own awareness of issues and works to solve them through cooperation and collaboration with various people and organizations
Target Embodiment (Business falling under any of the following)
(a) Creative artistic activities (Performances, exhibitions, workshops, etc.) * Any field of art.
(b) Environmental improvement activities (Human resource development, research, technology development, archiving, etc.) * Concomitant disclosure of results

* Starting with the public offering in FY 2025, all consumption taxes and local consumption taxes will not be subsidized. Please be careful.
