We have decided on one of Arts Council Tokyo 's arts and culture support projects, the target project for the first phase of Creation Grant 27. This grant program supports a portion of the activity expenses of Tokyo-based arts organizations in order to support various creative activities and their bearers who contribute to improving Tokyo's urban attractiveness.
This semester, we received 30 applications for long-term grants and 182 applications for single-year grants, and as a result of rigorous screening at Arts Council Tokyo, 7 long-term grants and 62 single-year grants were selected (23.3% long-term grant acceptance rate and 34.1% single-year grant acceptance rate). The total amount of long-term subsidies (3 years) will be 48.5 million yen, and the total amount of single-year subsidies will be 73.41 million yen.
