[Main Performance of Nohgaku and Follow-up Lecture]
One of the best programs in Nohgaku, 'Matsukaze,' was performed by the leading performer of the day with the role of the shite, Mitsutsure UZAWA, Hisashi UZAWA, breaking with the industry's conventional music selection and casting. In addition, the leading performer and the one who will lead the next generation performed together in a special performance style of Ichicho of 'Ureishiki Haruwo,' a kyogen lyric composed by Tojiro YAMAMOTO, and Ichicho of 'Kasa no Dan.'. In addition, a post-performance lecture was held on a different date from the main performance to explore the contents of the work with the audience.

"Seikyokai"
A coterie organization that pursues better chanting (voice) and the sound of musical instruments for hayashi (musical accompaniment) to ensure the succession of Nohgaku and the further improvement of the art. It was formed mainly by waki-kata (supporting actor) Seigo MIKURIYA and kotsuzumi-kata (small hand drum player) Kyosuke TANABE, both of whom had completed the training of Sanyaku (three roles) at the National Noh Theater, with the cooperation of shite-kata (main actor) Hikaru UZAWA in 2024. In addition to the main performance, lectures with demonstrations will be held as a place for audiences and performers to learn about the work together.
