Business Overview

This is the 8th performance organized by vocalconcert initium, a new professional chamber choir founded in Tokyo in 2015. Under the title "Profound Japanese Choral Music," the author shines a spotlight on works by Japanese composers of the same period, and attempts to clarify the relationship between Japanese language and music and the relationship between language and music, and to modernize the criticality of choral music in the context of classical music, while developing compositions with various compositions and acoustic rules. 【vocal concert initiative 】
The vocal concert initiative is a chamber choir founded in 2015 by conductors Iku Tani (Austria) and Kota Yanagishima (Germany), who studied in Europe. All members have their own musical careers and are exploring the possibilities of multi-vocal musical performances. In February 2015, he made his debut with Liem "My Soul Is Dead Sad" and Eisler "Against War". They have successfully performed 8 independent concerts in Tokyo, and in November 2019 they held their 4th concert as part of the Kitatopia International Music Festival. In 2022, Morten Schuldt-Jensen was invited to give concerts and conducting master classes.
