Business Overview
In conjunction with the screening of Asagi Kimura's feature film "Hoof" (produced in 2017), there will be a recitation of poetry by Kayu Ishizuka, who stars in "Hoof," and a screening of Mizuho Odagiri's "Golden," which evokes a drifting island. In the performance hall, the records of Kimura's self-portrait activities from the completion of "Hoof" to the present, with the aim of communicating with the photographer through his own body, will be displayed together with related poems. In addition, a booklet containing photos edited by designer Hayano Higuchi was published. I tried to reconstruct the relationship between the film itself and the emotional transition that has been accumulated over five years in relation to the film from the present time frame.

Profile
[Asagi Kimura]
A filmmaker based in Tokyo and Okinawa. He has used stories as a medium to build relationships with his own body and family, and has published these phenomena through images and poetry. His new feature project "Your Hair is from the Aomidori Fruit" won the Talents Tokyo Award 2021. Currently, he is interested in the change of "voice" according to his state of mind, and as one of his experiments, he is distributing readings on the podcast "Only One Tonight".
