Business Overview

The genres of 'Japanese music' played in our country today are very diverse. There are many situations in which each of them is engaged in activities that are somewhat closed and independent. However, when considering the future development of Japanese music, it is necessary not only to engage in activities in each genre but also to understand and exchange widely in each field. Based on this idea, the 'Contemporary Japanese Music Composers' League '(abbreviated as the current Bounren) was formed by volunteers who were engaged in creative activities in normal life. - Masakuni Kineya (founding member of Genbon-ren) On the occasion of the 30 th Commemorative Performance, the Federation looks back on its activities over 50 years since its foundation in 1964, and aims to further cultivate and envision traditional Japanese music formed with a tireless creative attitude. < Performance of creative works > "New Joruri (title undecided)" Composer: Miyakoichi Chu Performers: Miyakoichi Chu (shamisen), etc. "Soh solo music" Composer: Satomi Fukami Performers: Satomi Fukami (koto) "Music for flute and traditional Japanese music festival (tentative title)" Composer: Yoshio NAKAGAWA Performers: Yoshio NAKAGAWA (noh pipe/bamboo flute), etc. "Music for dragon flute and small kangen (tentative title)" Composer: Sukeyasu SHIBA Performers: (undecided) < New project to commemorate the 30 th Concert > First performance of a new work co-produced by members supervised by Seitaro IMANDO < Special project to commemorate the 30 th Concert > The original members talk about 50 years of the Contemporary Japanese Music Composers Association (Interview to commemorate the 30 th Concert)
