Business Overview

Pianist and artist Mukaiyama Tomoko's short art film "From Here" is composed entirely of performances of "The Nine Preludes" composed by Maxime Sharigin. Scenery such as cliffs and fumaroles "Hingya" on Aogashima Island in the Izu Islands depict the boundary between the alien world and reality. The fire of the Oto Matsuri, an annual male-only fire festival held in his hometown of Kumano, appears as a symbol that cuts across history, religion, and gender, and leads from the ritual of burning to urban flames and modern cycles of violence.

The general incorporated association MARTAS was established in Tokyo with the aim of expanding its activities from Holland and Europe to Japan, researching and presenting art projects of the 21 century across multiple areas, and building a platform to connect the art scenes of Japan, Europe and Asia.
