Project Overview

[1st year project overview]
Documentary filmmakers who are actively involved in the world stage were invited from Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, and other countries, and film screenings, cross-talks, and workshop events were held in Tokyo twice (early summer and autumn).
Twenty-one creative documentary films by artists who left the residency program "Yamagata Documentary Dojo" were screened, including the first screening in Japan.
Through talks and public workshops by experienced people who have worked hard at the "dojo", they sent a message about the possibility that cross-border exchanges can bring creative stimulation, career development, screenings, and funding sources.

日本とアジアの制作者が場と時間を共有しながら切磋琢磨する「ドキュメンタリー道場」やセミナー・ワークショップを企画・主催し、作者同士の横のネットワーク作りと多様性に富んだ映画文化の創出を大切にしている。代表は藤岡朝子。
