Profile

【 NPO Poko Poko Club 】
The Poko Poko Club is a theater group founded in 2013 by Yoshinaga Mikami, Yoshihiro Watanabe and Kazuki Sugiura. Mikami is in charge of directing, and the members take turns writing the script. After many discussions with actors and staff, he has created works that "do everything possible in theater.".
In recent years, he has questioned the concentration of the theater industry in Tokyo, and has focused on cooperating with the local community. After working in Uchiko-cho, Ehime, he aims to create a play that connects the region and the city and nurtures people and the land.
