Business Overview

This project was carried out under the theme of "Plastic" at "CS-Lab," which is located in Tokyo University of Art and Design and is operated and used by students independently. Takuya Nakao, an art critic, and Yuki Okumura, an artist, treated every element of the exhibition as "the plastic, the plastic," including the form of the works, the production method, the relationship between curators/artists/participants, and the organization. Plays were invited and discussed with each inventor so that the play would use only objects in the venue and be output as words or shapes. A workshop was held for 6 days in which the 10 completed games and 19 games invented by Nakao and Okumura were played 3 times a day. Different combinations of 101 participants played each time. Through the execution of the game devised, the curator, artist, and participants circulated their positions and created a place where they could create a work and set up an exhibition from nothing in six days of the workshop.
