Presentation: Digital Nature Pioneers Future Cities

A businessperson, researcher, and media artist, Ochiai Yoichi has garnered much attention as a modern-day wizard. We have created an unprecedented world in real space by making full use of science and technology, such as projecting images from soap bubble films onto displays, levitating objects with directional speakers using acoustic levitation, and displaying pictures on fingertips by generating plasma with laser light. Yoichi Ochiai will present his idea of the future. "Colloid Display," a work using soap bubble film, will be exhibited at the venue.

Talk Session 2: Technology Art & Digital Fabrication Today

Drones, VR displays, robots, artificial intelligence, and other cutting-edge technologies are becoming more accessible, and the art world is seeing the emergence of works that were previously unthinkable. Furthermore, the spread of digital fabrication has made it possible for anyone to easily create their own creativity. As the boundaries between art and technology, creator and user, and so on are being broken down, what is happening at the forefront of tech art, and what future does digital fabrication offer citizens? Leading experts in technology art and digital fabrication, including researchers, corporate developers, artists, and directors, gather to discuss the future of art and manufacturing.
