It is a project to think about well-being through art and culture and to develop various practices. In cooperation with metropolitan cultural institutions, cultural projects, NPOs and practitioners working on social issues, we will promote and disseminate initiatives necessary for the future of art and culture.

Creative Well-being Tokyo
We will foster networks with diverse people, transcending language and cultural differences, the presence or absence of disabilities, and engage in research, verification, and development aimed at creating well-being. In addition, in order to disseminate efforts to realize a symbiotic society through arts and culture, and to disseminate advanced examples both in Japan and abroad, Japan will hold the International Conference on Connecting Everyone Through Culture.
Improving accessibility to arts and culture
We will work to improve accessibility at Tokyo Metropolitan Cultural Facilities and cultural projects developed in Arts Council Tokyo, and create an environment where everyone can easily access arts and culture. We will provide information and improve services for visitors to and participate in cultural facilities and projects, promote initiatives to enrich the experience of viewing and participating in performances, exhibitions, and programs, and promote the development of an environment for diverse people with disabilities to participate in planning and management. We will also provide training and subsidies for those who are responsible for art and culture.
TURN LAND program
This is a program in which welfare facilities and social support organizations plan and practice art projects together with artists. While deepening our understanding of diverse values and characteristics through project practice, we will create more attractive activities in our daily lives. The implementation process is accompanied by a coordinator who supports the operation according to the situation on the ground. We aim to build a new relationship with the local community and share the awareness of the project both internally and externally.
