Tokyo Support Center for the Arts and Culture ARTNOTO

It is a platform that supports the sustainable activities of artists and the bearers of all kinds of arts and culture in Tokyo and leads to new activities. We provide comprehensive support through three functions: a "consultation counter" that responds to concerns and difficulties, a "provision of information" that provides useful information for activities, and a "school" that provides knowledge and skills necessary for activities, mainly online and in cooperation with experts such as lawyers and tax accountants.

Consultation Desk

Consultants with knowledge and experience in arts and culture respond to the various concerns and difficulties faced by artists and those who are responsible for arts and culture, and help to resolve them. Depending on the content of the consultation, we will introduce outside experts such as lawyers as necessary. We also provide in-person consultations at various events and venues.

The website provides useful information for solving various problems and concerns that arise in the course of performing arts and culture activities, such as accounting and taxation, funds and places for activities, and harassment. We use multiple media platforms such as the official website, YouTube, note, and LINE to disseminate information in a unified manner.

School

Conducted courses aimed at strengthening the activity base and improving the activity environment, such as networking, for artists and those who are responsible for all aspects of art and culture. It covers a wide range of topics, including legal affairs, accounting and taxation, business skills, harassment prevention, and capacity building. We will also make effective use of our extensive archives to conduct in-depth lectures, as well as conduct on-site lectures for university students in cooperation with art universities in Tokyo.
