Expressing New Social Systems: A Cross-Domain Approach Leads to the Future of Culture and Cities
Arts Council Tokyo and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government are developing the "Tokyo Culture Program" with the aim of inheriting the cultural legacy from 2020 onwards and realizing Tokyo as a city full of cultural charm. It is an opportunity to take on challenges and show new values to the world on the stage of Tokyo, but what ideas and methods do you have to realize them in Tokyo, where diverse personalities coexist with each other?
In recent years, activities that transcend "domains" and "concepts," especially by young people, have created a trend of flexible creative activities and are attracting attention. They create contact points with society through approaches that are not bound by conventional concepts such as "creation," "community," and "business," and create new value that has never been created before by sharing the challenges and creative activities that are born from these points with society. Their activities and development are proposals for a new social system for the next generation, and they are showing creative development in today's society.
This forum will invite young people from Tokyo, the UK, Taiwan, and Hong Kong who are working on creative initiatives that are not bound by the boundaries of the city, introduce their unique activities, and, through open dialogue, explore new possibilities for Tokyo as a city and culture that will continue to be relevant in 2020 and beyond 2020.

Tran Huy Shen (Alice Chan, Co-President Ting Shuo Hear Say, Tainan)
1984年台南生まれ。アーティストとして活動する一方、東アジア、欧州、オセアニアで小規模なイベントから大型フェスティバルまで多岐にわたるワークショップとイベントの企画と実施を手がけた。レジデンスサポートを受ける中で、数々のワークショップや地域と連携したプログラムを主宰。
現在は台南を拠点に活動しており、リスニング、芸術、言説分析の教育に焦点を当てたコミュニティー・スペース「Ting Shuo Hear Say」を共同運営している。

Fran Égerie (Assemble member, London)
1987年生まれ。ターナー賞2015を受賞した、ロンドンを拠点にアートやデザイン、建築といったジャンルを超えて活動する建築家集団Assemble〈アセンブル〉の創設メンバー。都市における多様性と共感を育む取り組みを通じ、社会に影響を与える建築、アート、デザインを発展させ続けている。

Michael Lun (Designer/Urban Farmer, Hong Kong)
1983年ロンドン生まれ。共同都市農業プロジェクト「The HK FARMers’ Almanac 2014-2015」や、深水埗の棚仔（Pang Jai）繊維街でのプロジェクト「Pangkerchief」を手がける。香港浸会大学の客員教師を務め、ソーシャリー・エンゲージド・アートの文学修士課程を指導している。研究対象は「Insurrectionary Agricultural Milieux（反乱的農業環境）」で、生政治・新自由主義といったグローバルな状況に対するローカルの反応から生まれる横断的な形態の農業。

Nakamurakenta (Representative Director of Nihon Shigoto Hyakkai, Tokyo)
1979年東京生まれ。生きるように働く人の求人サイト「日本仕事百貨」を企画運営。シゴトヒト文庫ディレクター。東京・清澄白河に小さなまちをつくるプロジェクト「リトルトーキョー」や「しごとバー」の企画・デザイン監修。2014年よりグッドデザイン賞審査員。2017年4月22日、誰もが映画を上映できる仕組み「popcorn」をスタート。著書「シゴトとヒトの間を考える(シゴトヒト文庫)」。

SERIZAWA Takashi (Director of P3 art and environment)
1951年東京生まれ。神戸大学理学部数学科、横浜国立大学工学部建築学科を卒業後、（株）リジオナル・プランニング・チームで生態学的土地利用計画の研究に従事。
89年にP3 art and environmentを開設。とかち国際現代アート展『デメーテル』総合ディレクター（2002年）、アサヒ・アート・フェスティバル事務局長（2003年～2016）、横浜トリエンナーレ2005キュレーター、別府現代芸術フェスティバル『混浴温泉世界』総合ディレクター（2009年、2012年、2015年）、さいたまトリエンナーレ２０１６ディレクター（2016年）を歴任。
