The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture will implement three art projects, the TOKYOFORWARD 2025 Cultural Program, in 2025, when the World Athletics and Deaflympics will be held in Tokyo.
To kick off the event, in conjunction with the Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Games, a performance event "TOKYO Washoi" will be held on September 12~14, 2025, at Yukiko Street in front of Tokyo Station, featuring festival groups and traditional performing arts groups from all over Tokyo.
