Business Overview
This project was held as the 2025 regular performance of the Japanese traditional musical instrument ensemble Makhorova produced by Hidetaro Honjo. In 2024, he collaborated with composers from Spain, Greece, and Japan to release a new work on the theme of 'pilgrimage,' inspired by his discovery of the 'common denominator' found in the Spanish holy year of Lievana (25 to 26), the completion of the Sagrada Familia, and the Japanese pilgrimage and the founding of shrines and temples. This is a work by Harris Kitos that expresses original energy and its transience. Sugiyama Yoichi's work was inspired by Buddhist philosophy. This is a work by Cobo Garcia that expresses "prayer (work song)" based on "kiyari". Matsunami Shotaro, who is familiar with the music of joruri, expressed "empty (emotion)." Inspired by the Tohoku sword dance, Diego Ramos expressed the festival with the music of Spanish classical dances. All five songs were international projects with cultural and folk entertainment elements as images and messages for modern society.

Profile
【J-TRAD Ensemble MAHOROBA】
Formed in 2021, they work to expand the repertoire of Japanese traditional instrument ensembles by commissioning works with a style that fuses Japanese folk arts and modern music.
Inspired by the "current music" created from the "origin of Japanese music" studied for a long time by Professor Hidetaro Honjo who produces and supervises, he established his musicality by returning to the "diversity" of Japan. They also hold regular concerts every year and hold international activities.
