"Maifujin Johakyu" composed by Sukeyasu Shiba is a new masterpiece of classical music that is compact and novel to suit the modern times, while taking the form of classical music Johakyu.
Toru TAKEMITSU's "Shuteiga Ichigu" is a piece of music that became a big opportunity for Sukeyasu SHIBA to establish Reigakusha, and he has performed it many times in Japan and abroad, and recently he has achieved great results by performing with dance, but on this occasion, he returns to his roots and focuses on "Shuteiga Ichigu" only with music.

Profile
"General incorporated association Reigakusha"
It was founded by the late Sukeyasu SHIBA for the purpose of ensemble and research of gagaku. It was founded in 1985 and became a general incorporated association in April 2013. In addition to taking up traditional classical works, the group tries to reproduce works that have been abolished in the long history of gagaku with the cooperation of researchers, performs works using instruments reconstructed in Shosoin, commissions new works to contemporary composers, and so on, and develops activities not seen in other gagaku groups. In particular, he focuses on the premieres of works commissioned by contemporary composers and new works in the classical gagaku style. So far, he has commissioned new works from contemporary Japanese composers such as Yuasa Joji, Ikebe Shinichiro and Hosokawa Toshio.
He was asked to perform in the US in 1996 and has performed many times overseas. In 2018, she performed at the British Museum and participated in Japonismes 2018 in Paris. At the Philharmonie de Paris, she presented a collaborative work with dancer Kaiji Moriyama, which was well received.
