Business Overview
A film festival will be held at a movie theater in Shinjuku, Tokyo, where documentaries will come together regardless of media such as TV, movies, and the Internet. As a gateway to documentary filmmaking, it aimed to discover and nurture new filmmakers. At the same time, we introduced a wide range of special screenings, focusing on anthropological and folklore images, as well as documentary images of customs in various parts of the world that are rarely seen, and the latest documentary films from Hong Kong and Taiwan. The aim was to create a documentary culture in which documentary images that record the world around us are shared with audiences through screenings and director talks, and through mutual criticism, lead to new creations.

Since then, he has continuously published reviews and director interviews on the documentary magazine "neoneo," the book "neoneo sosho," and the website "neoneo web" to convey the appeal of documentaries. Since 2018, the Tokyo Documentary Film Festival has been held to bring the appeal of documentaries more directly to filmmakers and audiences.
