Business Overview
A performance held at the banquet hall of Kamata Onsen in Ota Ward, Tokyo. It has a function that is not usually a theater, and it creates an extraordinary story space with limited materials in a place that is friendly to people other than theater fans. The performance consists of a section in which the performers recite live narratives to the audience seated in the tatami room, a dance mini-show by the performers, and a two-person performance by the Takenaka and Mikawa families. The audience is close to the performers psychologically and psychologically, rather than looking into the theater from the outside, but the content of the two-person show, which is about loneliness, escalates to an underground level and becomes the opposite of the familiar situation in the banquet hall. Writer/Director/Actor: Kumiko Ueda Actor/Collaborators: Koko Takenaka, Ryo Mikawaya Director: Akinobu Osaki Actor: Hanako Takano Stage Director: Akira Kawai Lighting: Masayoshi Takada Sound: Masafumi Wada Production: Syuz'gen LLC

Profile
【Projectumï】
Projectumï is a performance group established in January 2024 by the director Kumiko Ueda with the aim of delivering critical performing arts works to a wide range of citizens.
Based on Ueda's characteristic easy-to-understand storytelling and large-scale directing skills, he delivers highly critical themes to a wide audience in an easy-to-understand manner. Using a cross-genre approach of theater, dance and performance, it aims to create a work that is positioned between avant-garde and popular. We will provide works that are easily accessible to anyone and that can deeply share contemporary issues, and we will conduct activities so that the viewing experience will help people think about a more free and fulfilling civil society and local community.
