FY2024 2nd Term Creation Grant Category I Single-Year Grant

Business Overview

Produced as a companion piece to "Holy cow" (performed in Kyoto in November 2024), this production was performed at "Moto Eigakan," an art space renovated from an abandoned movie theater in Mikawajima, Tokyo. This film captures the lives of people who have gathered in the land of Tokyo, and the chaos and scenery of the city itself. Just like the flickering lights and shadows on the screen of a movie theater, the passing and remaining intersect each day. With a minimalist movement that strongly affirms the ambiguity of life, and with bodies, words, and music that look at the fact that nothing needs to have a meaning in a changing society, he sketches "Tokyo" at this moment. "Tokyo Good Morning" Director: Yuichiro Konno Cast: Masanori Kikuzawa, Mai Kuroki, Kana Bando, Hayao Sato, Skunk/SKANK, Rei Nakajo, Wakako Hashimoto, Misaki Motofuji
