Business Overview
In order to pass down and develop the traditional art of Edo joruri shinnaibushi, a concert was held in which Taga Tayu SHINUCHI narrated the classic "Otokosaku Shussujin Uta," Kijirojuro TSURUGA and Iseichiro TSURUGA played shamisen, and Katsushisu SHINUCHI and Kijirozaburo TSURUGA played jochoshi. The story begins with the setting that Shinzaemon KIO, a vassal of the Soga brothers, disguises himself as Genta SHIRATO in order to search for his lord's sword and spends his days full of fighting. Because of his bad behavior, Genta was banished from the village and was about to be disgusted, but his wife was impressed by his loyalty when he revealed his identity. Then Genta's evil associate, Raigen Inokuma, comes and makes a fateful accusation against Genta. A fight ensues, and when Kajimoto draws his sword, it is the treasure that Genta has been inquiring about, and Genta defeats Kajimoto, takes the sword back and makes a good showing. It is important to express various characters such as the grief of a villager and his wife's kudoki in the first half, and Genta's miarawashi and his bad friends in the second half, and by combining the expressions of the predecessors passed down and the expressions of Taga Tayu, it was intended to be a performance that can be handed down to later generations. In addition, by preserving the sound source and video materials, he was able to pass on to future generations.
