Business Overview

They performed a new play based on the Tsukui Yamayuri-en Incident that occurred in 2016. The theme of this film is the question of how we can overcome the meritocracy that the criminal relies on, and it was produced with the aim of sharing the feeling that "we can live together." In preparation for the performance in September, three research presentations were held in May and June and open discussions were held for the production of the work. In addition to book research and interviews at facilities for the physically challenged, the group also chose one actor each with a physical or intellectual disability. Even after the research presentation was completed, statements about the goals of the play, production notes, and interview articles were published to form the audience's consciousness about the performance outside of the play. In addition, each performance at the theater always included a time for dialogue with and among the audience, and even after the performance ended, questions and opinions were received and answered on the Internet.

Profile

[Human condition]
A theater group established by ZR in 2019 while he was a student at the University of Tokyo. Based on the concept of "things without which humans cannot live," a simple and compelling drama is depicted using dynamic bodies. In recent years, based on modern interpretations of classical works, he has been aiming to create new physical dramas by incorporating elements such as dance as well as theater. In recent works, he has been producing works that reexamine the concept of physical strength in stage productions, taking into account the various physical forms of people.
