Business Overview

Deaf and blind violinists and storytellers present Miyazawa Kenji's works through sign language, music and storytelling. Based on the staging of the first performance, the music, sign language and the narrator's performance, audio guide, subtitles, etc. were brushed up by taking feedback from the audience last year. In addition to sign language, which is used to express the work, completely original subtitles with animated onomatopoeia and a performance script with modern kanazukai (to be released in advance and distributed at the venue) were performed. A real-time audio guide with earphones was also provided for both performances. As for the audio guide, "how to incorporate sign language movements into the guide," which has been an issue since the first performance last year, was examined as a separate project, "Project to Communicate Sign Language with Audio Guide," and was refined by taking feedback from the parties concerned and others.
