Business Overview
This project was held at three venues in Tokyo for about two months before and after the promulgation of the Constitution of Japan, and focused on the Constitution and art by combining the text of the Constitution with art works. Naoko Sumi, a curator at the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, served as the exhibition director. Approximately 40 works from 25 artists participated in the exhibition, which is composed of a wide range of works including video, painting, photography, illustration, and objet d'art. 【Part1: Deserted Island Production Participating Writers 】 Article 4. Inspired by (Edited by Gento MATSUMOTO, published by TAC) published in 2019, Japan Constitution Exhibition is held. At the exhibition, new works different from those in the books will be selected and displayed together with the provisions of the Constitution of Japan. Aiming to experience the Constitution and reconsider it from a new perspective, the museum is working to convey the appeal of the Constitution and art.
