Business Overview
They are working to achieve the project of performing all cantata works of J.S. Bach "All Bach Cantatas". A major project lasting about 20 years. Bach's music is full of good energy. I am convinced that it gives the audience energy, gives them hope and positive feelings, and this is one of the social roles and identities of a professional group of musicians like ours. By making this activity a "dream" shared by the audience and us, we hope to contribute to the creation of a healthy and peaceful world. Another important goal is to pass on this historical and cultural heritage to the next generation. They aim to attract more than 1000 people for their regular performances, hold overseas tours, and invite people to Bach Fest in Leipzig, Germany once a year.

Profile
[Promusica Continuo Co., Ltd]
Old Music Orchestra Promusica Mission
An academic and professional orchestra founded by Harutani Shunki, a harpsichord player. The group consists of original instrumentalists active in Japan and overseas, including concert master Rieko Ikeda, principal cellist Toru Yamamoto, principal oboist Go Arai, and principal trumpet player Hidenori Saito. The ambitious sponsored performances such as the “Flowering of Civilization ” performance, Handel's“ Messiah ” performance, and the performance commemorating 350 years since Schutz's death are all well received. In 2024, he performed "John Passion" by J.S. Bach in commemoration of the 300 year anniversary of the first performance, and also started "Cantata Performance Project" by J.S. Bach. It is the black ship of the Reiwa era in the Japanese classical music world that continues to sail with a relentless spirit of inquiry.
