Business Overview

This project was created through a process that focused on multicultural dialogue, drawing on the diverse cultural backgrounds of the unique members who have lived overseas for a long time. The feature of the work is that the story of the four characters unfolded in a bar called "The WORLD" located somewhere in the world. In the creative process of working together to rewrite a new work written in English, each member's identity added depth to the characters. Japanese (including non-native speakers with Osaka dialect), English, Tagalog, Chinese, Irish, etc., were performed with due consideration given to the performers' roots and language abilities. In addition, he actively incorporated the voices of the audience and refined his work through multi-vocal exchanges of opinions, such as an exchange meeting after the Work in Progress performance, an open rehearsal at YAU, and an exchange meeting with the audience after the performance. This multicultural stage provided an opportunity to discover both the potential for richness brought about by diversity and a new "world."
