Business Overview

cross-disciplinary performance on the theme of perfection versus randomness. Through the collaboration of two artists from different cultural backgrounds and belonging to the same Generation Z, two worlds, two cultures and multiple languages intersect. It's an attempt to defeat perfection with their own weapons. The exhibition of the personal belongings of both performers as an introduction might have represented an intimate search for identity, and the subsequent play in which the individual bodies of the performers were gradually treated as objects might have represented a loss of agency in the face of perfection. Performers and audience members also shared experiences in various ways. The performance was jointly planned, produced and executed by Risa Kato and Alica Müller, with Paula Lied for flyer production, Yuha Kondo for lighting and sound, Tamao Nishiyama for video and subtitles and Nanami Furuta for recording.
