Business Overview
Creation of Chiaki SHINODA's new program Mayokage began in 2021, focusing on the traditional wayang rwatan, which is still performed in Java, Indonesia, to ward off evil and evil spirits. Awarding off evil and warding off evil are deeply related to social conditions and communities. It was created with Barai Budaya Minomartani, a local community facility in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, referring to all kinds of amulets. This performance, created after the Work in Progress performance and exhibition performed in February 2023, premiered in Yogyakarta. The members are director Shinoda Chiaki, contemporary puppeteer Nanan Anant Wichakusono, music artist Nishida Yuri, and characters in the film were created by pixel art artist Takakura Kazuki. In Yogyakarta, performances were streamed online, online lectures were given by experts, and workshops on the work were held at nearby elementary schools. At the end of this project, a presentation of the performance and an exhibition were held in Tokyo.

Profile
[Shinoda Chiaki]
Theater writer, director, and tourist guide. He founded Kaikai with his classmates at Tama Art University in 2004, and worked as a core member in directing, screenwriting and planning until he left the group in 2012. After that, she moved to Bangkok and continued her solo activities. He has produced works such as "Yotsu no Kigeki" and "Higeki" which explore the origin of drama itself, "ZOO" which is a zoo where you can see people based on a play by a Chilean writer, and "Michi wo Wataru" which simulates a revolution by walking people. Organized "Paranormal Museum" at Bangkok Biennial in 2018. In 2019, she participated in ADAM artist lab in Taipei and Music Hacker's lab at the Manila WSK Festival. He returned to Japan in March 2020 and was based in Nerima.
