Business Overview

This is the first musical adaptation of a masterpiece that was first performed as a stage production by the theater group Caramel Box in 2012 and has attracted a total of more than 50,000 audiences at 10 locations nationwide. The musical is written, directed and written by Narui Yutaka, who has also worked on stage productions and created numerous plays. The music was written by Yuji Sugimoto, a vocalist of the piano rock band WEAVER and currently active as a solo project ONCE. The main character, Christian, is the talented Hirama Soichi, who has appeared in many high-profile films. The role of Watcher, who plays a key role in watching Christian, was played by Naoto Tada of Caramel Box, who played Christian three times in the straight play version. It was a new attempt to combine the leading cast of musicals with popular actors from Caramel Box.

In 2015, he assumed the position of executive director of the Japan Theater Company Association. In 2023, he became director of the Emergency Performing Arts Network.
