Business Overview
"Kuma" by Anton Chekhov, adapted by Brian Freel, directed by Tsuyoshi Ito. After watching Brian Freel's version of The Bear, performed by a female cast member, we invite guests to join us for a reading of Anton Chekhov's version of The Bear. Please enjoy the differences between the adaptation of "The Bear" written in 1888 and how Brian Freel adapted it in 2002, as well as Freel's perspective and process as a playwright. Cast: Sanomi 1000 ko (Elena), Kikuchi Natsuno (Smirnov), Yamamoto Yoko (Luca). Leading guests are Shigeru Sato (Seinendan/Shigekaku), Hiroshi Ota (Seinendan), Jun Saito (Theatre Haiyuza), and Yoshi Sakugai.

Profile
Sano Michiko
After graduating from university, she went to the United States alone. Studied as a full-time student for two years at HBstudio in New York. In October 2023, he established the 'Pancake Party,' and has performed in every performance since then. His major performances include the role of Alba Déjounet in Theater Company Q+ 'ANGERSWING' in 2024 and the role of Elena Bulgakova in Theater Company Impression-indian elephant 'Dog and Dictator' in 2023.
