Business Overview
It records the dialogue between Taeko Abe and Hyun-jin Oh about YOU ARE MY KNIT, and exhibits knitting and drawings created based on the dialogue. The venue was Totan (Taito Ward, Tokyo), a renovated two-story house. On the first floor, there are mainly pen and pencil drawings and knitting works by Taeko Abe. Most of these drawings and knitting are based on things that appear in dialogue. On the second floor, the original Korean letters between Abe Taeko and Oh Hyung-jin (Japanese and English translations are available), printed ribbons of their conversations on messaging apps, documents and related materials from their conversations, as well as knitted objects and videos of them being knitted were presented. Visitors will be guided as if they were visiting someone's home, and will be able to enjoy the exhibits as if stealing a glimpse of their interactions. In addition, a booklet (in Japanese, Korean and English) summarizing the exhibits was produced.
