Business Overview

In Berlin, Germany, she researched gender equality and LGBTQ+ people's rights, and created and presented video installations. The film features discussions on how people can understand each other, especially people from different backgrounds, the roles required by each gender, age, nationality, and stereotypes applied, and how to build more comfortable relationships. The purpose of the project is to create opportunities for people to think about various ways of connecting with others.

Profile

Tsuji Rieko
Born in 1991. Based in Tokyo. The main exhibits include (soco1010, Tokyo, 2022) and (Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo, Tokyo, 2024). In recent years, he has been researching Japanese and foreign cultures on how to build communities and relationships between people, and producing video works that contain dialogues and interviews. Her works, which are a mixture of comical and serious, raise questions for viewers that stir up individual prejudices, misunderstandings, and unconscious discrimination.
