[Items to be experienced] Tea ceremony [Number of times a participant experiences practical skills (including presentations and rehearsals)] 6 times [Main instructor name] Musashino City Tea Ceremony Federation (Great Japan Tea Ceremony Society) [Features of the project] In 5 rehearsals, starting with how to bow, after a split practice, they learn the Bon point ceremony, and on the last day, they invite their parents to the tea ceremony (presentation) and perform the point ceremony. Through easy-to-understand practice for children who are new to the tea ceremony, they can experience and acquire the depth of Japan's traditional culture and make use of it in their daily lives. [Public relations initiatives at the time of recruiting participants (collaboration, cooperation, networking, etc.)] In addition to publishing in the Musashino City Bulletin and distributing recruitment flyers at the city's cultural facilities, etc., we will publicize the event on the Musashino Culture Lifelong Learning Corporation website, SNS, e-mail magazines, etc. [Measures to ensure that participants can continue to have practical experience (other than the projects eligible for this grant) even after the project ends] In addition to introducing tea ceremonies that can be easily done at home (including videos, etc.), we will introduce the regular tea ceremonies held at Truffle An, such as truffle "tea ceremony") and Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony, and provide information so that people can continue to experience the tea ceremony.

Musashino Culture Lifelong Learning Foundation is an extra-departmental organization of Musashino City that aims to contribute to the realization of a vibrant local community and the formation of a rich citizen's life throughout his or her life by providing citizens with various opportunities to become familiar with arts and culture, sports, and lifelong learning activities, and by supporting the learning, activities, and exchanges that citizens themselves undertake.
In addition to performing classical music, jazz, pop, and rakugo, the Culture Division conducts educational and promotional activities such as tea parties, hands-on arts and culture events, and school outreach.
