Business Overview
Birth Control of the Vatican by Sanae Iijima Synopsis: The story of Niigata obstetrician and gynecologist Kyusaku OGINO in the Taisho era, until he announced the "Ogino method," which uses a woman's menstrual cycle to determine when she is likely to become pregnant. A whole new set of options emerges in the social position and values of women in the 1900s. Depicts the process of choosing to "change" or "stay the same" from the place where she is, while being puzzled by the difference from her own values up until now. Although modern society is full of choices, I feel that there are many people who limit their choices by themselves and remain in an inconvenient situation because they are caught up in the values of the majority. Focusing on the affinity between the inconveniences of modern people and the inconveniences of women in the 1900s, this project will provide an opportunity to "take a step forward" for those who are lost in the diversity of values and choices of today. Cast: Yuya Tamaki, Ryota Horinouchi, Okunin Nakatake, Chihiro Hisamiya, Shino Oikawa, Reion Akamatsu, Kyoko Takei Director: Shuhei Ichinomiya

Profile
【Hearts & Souls】
Founded in 2021 with the aim of reexamining the concept of "femininity/masculinity" from the aspect of performing arts. For each work, a director who matches the purpose of presenting the work is requested, and the director and the theatrical company explore the creation on an equal basis. We will make every effort to contribute to a society that allows people to live "as they are" without being caught up in "what they are." In a society where oppression from others still remains, she produces works and creative environments that present "opportunities to find a place to be oneself."
