Under the theme of "dance," the possibility of wooden musical instruments is explored. Various sounds of string ensemble, marimba, koto and shakuhachi. To deepen the musical expression of wooden musical instruments and convey the appeal and potential to the audience. Under the theme of "exploring the possibilities of wooden instruments," a series of performances "Wooden Music Festival" will be held from May 2023. It combines a wide range of musical instruments, including strings, pipes, percussion instruments, Japanese musical instruments and folk musical instruments, and commissions new works to young composers. They are also actively promoting the appeal of wooden musical instruments through outreach activities and live performances.
