Business Overview
Legend has it that MINAMOTO no Yoritomo stopped by Igusa Hachiman-gu Shrine, where the performance was performed, when he was conquering Oshu, and used a bow to dig into the spring water, which became the source of Zenpuku-ji Pond. Based on the legend, professional kagurashi and local children created and performed new Satokagura works. A kagura workshop was also held during the intermission.

Profile
Tokyo Kagurakko Project Executive Committee
Established in 2019. The concept of the activity is "Rather than watching, let's try!". Children in Tokyo are being taught sato-kagura by kagurashi of Bushu Sato-kagura Ishiyama Shachu, an intangible cultural property with a history of more than 300 years.
Satokagura is said to be the oldest performing art in Japan, and they want children today to enjoy it as a "living performing art," and they also want adults who see the hard work of Satokagura to develop a heart that values traditional Japanese culture.
