Profile
【 Mikiharu 】
Born in 1998 in Miyazaki Prefecture. In 2021, he graduated from the Music Environment Creation Department, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2023, he completed his master's degree at the Graduate School of Imaging, Media and Visual Arts. He is a member of the four-member ensemble "Beetle" and the improvisational percussion group "LA SEÑAS".
He explores the concept of rhythm from the theory of time and body, and produces images and performances based on the act of performing. In recent years, he has been focusing on expressions that reconsider the meaning and value of things by playing them with percussion manners.
