Business Overview

With the aim of building a new relationship centered on body expression, we held an event series composed of the following six programs based on the concept of "dialogue about body expression". 1. Dance researcher Yuma Etchi gave a lecture tracing the history of modern and contemporary dance with the theme of "democratization" 2. A book reading session based on a text that considers the current expression of dance 3. A laboratory in which several choreographers talked through "choreography" 4. A dance performance in which choreographers of the same generation communicated and presented their own expressions 5. A screening of a video work by choreographer Yasuko Yogoshi featuring the subject of the actionist Takuya Nukuri 6. A round meeting in which Yuya Tsukahara (contact Gonzo) was invited as a guest to discuss the future expression of dance Each program was an opportunity for people of various generations with different ways of relating to dance to meet and talk, fostering new relationships and providing an opportunity to consider and practice contemporary dance from multiple perspectives and layers. It was planned and organized by Taku YOSHIDA and managed by Arihiro YAMADA and Yasushi KUROTAKI. Both are choreographers and dancers, and through their projects, they explored ways to connect dance with society in ways other than the presentation of works.
