Business Overview
Choreography, composition, and direction: Akira YAMADA Performers: Kengo OKAMOTO, Masaki HARA, Yusuke MIYA, and Akira YAMADA Sound and lighting: Chikara KONDO Photography: Arakimiyu A 50 minute performance. Using the narrative theme of “cutting the thread hanging from paradise by oneself ”, I searched for ways to reflect“ being strong ” in the body with the spirituality of HIPHOP as the starting point of the creation. He designed impulsive explosions and restraints of the body, and he defined and practiced the cutting of yellow curing tape stretched across the space as the core of this performance.

[Akira Yamada]
Body artist. Started dancing in high school, and since 2019 has participated in Yukio Suzuki's YUKIO SUZUKI projects. He is interested in the body itself, and while being flat and strong, he pursues how to sublimate his favorite beliefs and spirituality into the body. While appearing as a dancer in the works of Yukio SUZUKI, You NAKAMURA, Shun NAKAMURA, Koichiro TAMURA and others, he also regularly holds his own performances.
