Business Overview

The series of performances, "The Power of Transmission: The Present of Classics," has been held three times a year with three different themes: "a recital performance that serves as a place for Akiko Fujimoto's study," "a performance to hear the true value of jiuta koto music in a local city," and "a performance to learn about the inheritance of classics together with people who will lead the next generation." Among these three, this time we invited young people who will play a central role in the future of the sankyoku world as co-performers. The performance technique of jiuta sokyoku, which has been refined over many years to the present day, is the essential basis for expressing the singing method unique to the classics and the original tone and resonance of the instrument. One of the important roles of the series is to pass on the basics of the classics to the next generation. With young people who are interested in the classics, we repeated the preliminary meeting before the performance, and together we performed the classical techniques in depth.
