Business Overview

This project aims to improve the quality of life (QOL) of people with intellectual disabilities through the performing arts, with instructors skilled in acting, singing, dance, and stage production. The production features a unique blend of each member's expertise. The program consists of two parts: the musical "Suho's White Horse" and the performance "SMILE & POWER." The performance lasts 90 minutes, including intermission. The performers are graduates of special needs schools in Tokyo, and their disabilities range from level 2 (moderately severe) to level 4 (mild) on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Ai no Techo" (Love Handbook) disability certificate. Because the stage equipment for this performance was available at the facility, it was smaller in scale than previous performances. The members, uncompromising about their disabilities, demonstrated their expressive abilities on stage beyond their capabilities. We believe it is important to overcome the barrier of "intellectual disability" and convey their desire to express themselves to people in areas where opportunities to interact with people with disabilities are limited.
