Business Overview

On the rooftop of a building in Shimotakaido, Tokyo, he created a work called "device" using mainly sunlight, and developed an installation based on the phenomenon of light. A lecture was given to the audience during the exhibition. An archive booklet was prepared and distributed for the details of the exhibition and works. A joint exhibition with the sculptor Kazutaka Oishi. The following is the exhibition guide. It has been about 400 years since the telescope invented by Galileo first observed the surface of the moon. At present, radio telescopes can detect even invisible electromagnetic waves and observe far away. Humanity has seen the potential of light in all sorts of ways. In this exhibition, we try to use light as a means and observe it as an object. It's on the roof of a building. The rules of observation are determined by the work. The work, viewed as a device, makes it possible to record unseen light. Organizers: Shiho Imai, Kazuki Oishi Photos: Soichiro Ishida, Shiho Imai, Kazuki Oishi Contributor: Kobayashi Haruo
