Business Overview
Illness and old age cause changes in the body and hormonal balance, so there is a possibility that a moment will come when you cannot act rationally, regardless of your will. However, in the face of the modern human image that "people are always rational," unreasonable thoughts and actions are dismissed as self-responsibility and exposed to exclusion and criticism. This exhibition, "Pulling Fluffy Hairs," along with the works on display and three related exhibitions, aims to alleviate the possibility of suffering not only for the present but also for all people by updating the modern human image based on the concept of care. The works exhibited in this exhibition are (1) "scapegoat" (2018) Gunma Youth Biennale: Encouragement Prize | (2) "The Polar Bear Restorer" (2022) MIMOCA EYE: Second Grand Prize. Main staff members are: Performance | Teru Miyazaki (Office Mountain), Music | 1000 Rin Komatsu, Accompaniment | Kazuki Sugiura. The three related events include talks and roundtable discussions on "caring for those who care" and "accessibility for people with mental and developmental disabilities." The main speakers were Min NISHIHARA, Miyuki TANAKA, and Azuori NAKAJIMA (Iihenji).

Profile
[Yuki Nakatani]
Born in Hokkaido in 1996. He graduated from the Department of Advanced Art Expression, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2020. By transplanting the motif of a static painting into my dynamic body, I created a work that renews the meaning of the picture fixed on the screen.
His major presentations include (Marugame City Genichiro Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art), "Stilllive: Performance Art Summit Tokyo 2021-2022 --Hygiene, Transformation, and Welcome" (Goethe Institute Tokyo), "Where is he?" (Tokyo University of the Arts Exhibition Hall), etc.
